This video shows a first look at the body of the Zap Alias Prototype in Maumee, Ohio. It sounds like there is no drivetrain in there yet and that it will be added later in California. The engineer said the Alias will likely cost about $33,000, go up to 100 miles per charge, and have a top speed of 100mph. It could be on sale as early as next year, most likely classified as a motorcycle because of its three wheels. Zap has a long history of making a lot of promises and CGI images of new models that they haven't delivered. At least this time they made a prototype body shell. Hopefully we'll see a fully running prototype soon, and an actual vehicle for sale soon after that (hopefully it's not like the obvio which made it to prototype stage but never went on sale).
